Puristic light lines underline remarkable character.

On a plot of land of just 270 sqm, a slim residential building (F9) has been constructed, compliant with building regulations, in Stuttgart. The reduced master plan is demonstrated by a monolithic building shell with corners resolved so as to consciously permit views into and out of the living areas and provide varied incidences of light. Consistent with this, in the interior, concrete and wood were used as materials.

Walls, floors and ceilings remain visible as untreated concrete and are supplemented by installations created in situ in concrete or wood. For lighting, the 20.3 LED luminaire from Luxsystem was used. It fits in with the residence’s reductionist and purist language. The light lines underline the remarkable character of the building and provide energy efficient basic illumination.
