Modern school lighting improves teaching and learning conditions. This has been scientifically proven. The positive influence of the right light on the ability to concentrate, the well-being and the safety of pupils and teachers has been proven for many years.

Today, school and educational facilities consist of many individual functional areas with very different lighting needs. Rooms and zones must therefore be very well illuminated and at the same time offer energy efficiency. Corridors and circulation zones have a significant influence and thus also assume an orientation function.

Natural light has a high acceptance rate with professional lighting design by architects and planners, because there is often no substitute for sensibly used daylight. This was also the case with the new Willibald Gluck grammar school. The responsible architects, Berschneider + Berschneider, placed great emphasis on daylight and transparency during the planning phase. Throughout the building, pupils and teachers experience open and bright rooms - the result is a high quality of stay. The Luxsystem luminaires from HADLER ensure that the circulation routes, rest areas, corridors and stairwell areas are skilfully illuminated, but are discreet in their effect. The luminaires were used very puristically as recessed luminaires and surface-mounted luminaires.
